Who we are

Gracepoint San Diego, born June 2010, started when a team of 14 moved from Northern California down to beautiful San Diego on the California coast. More than the allure of sandy beaches, temperate climate and the fast-growing city, our team moved to San Diego to reach the UC San Diego campus, believing the college students there go through a college experience much like the one we experienced on our own college campuses in Berkeley and Davis. And so, a small, committed group of 14 armed with big spiritual vision started acts2fellowship at UC San Diego.

Daniel and Sarah Kim lead our Gracepoint San Diego church and bring with them a passion and zeal for college ministry. Daniel has a master’s degree in Apologetics (the defense of the Christian faith) from Talbot Theological Seminary and loves engaging people in discussions and answering questions about God. Known for his uncanny sense of humor, Daniel, along with Sarah’s infectious laugh make every gathering at home and church inviting and joyful.
